Personality Profile 

According to the StrengthQuest my top 5 strengths are

Adaptabilty, Positivity, and Developer are all in the relationship building domain

 

Woo is in the influencing domain 

 

Arranger is in the executing domain 

 

This test shows that I have a high regard for relationship building. This is very inportant with respect to leadership because you have to have a good relationship with your team. You have respect and get along with your team members to be an effective leader. 

I also took the Myers-Briggs personality test. It is a test that assesses personality on four domains, extrovert or introvert; intuition or sensing; thinking or feeling; and judging or perceiving. There are a total of 16 outcomes that a person can fall under. After taking this test I received ENFP- Extrovert, Intuition, Feeling, Perceiving.

 

This how the Myers-Briggs website explains ENFP: ENFP

"Warmly enthusiastic and imaginative. See life as full of possibilities. Make connections between events and information very quickly, and confidently proceed based on the patterns they see. Want a lot of affirmation from others, and readily give appreciation and support. Spontaneous and flexible, often rely on their ability to improvise and their verbal fluency."

 

Extroversion: I believe that I am a very extroverted person. This indicator focuses on how you favor the world. I get enjoyment and happiness from being around other people. I get my energy from being around other people. I think this is very important in leadership because I have the ability to communicate and be open with my team. I like working with other people and believe I am a team player.

 

Intuition: This indicator focuses on information and how we process it. It discusses thinking through a problem using hands on experience; this is very true for me. I love working hands on rather than just picturing the outcome. Focusing more on the future than the past in relation to leadership this is very important looking at the big picture.

 

Feeling: This indicator focuses on decision-making processes. I rely on my feelings when making decisions and I care about other people and how the decision affects them. It is important in leadership because I take my team and other people into account when I make decisions. I will try to have the team be in harmony because if the team is not aligned then no one will get along and they will accomplish nothing.  

 

Perceiving: This relates to how I structure my world. I prefer to stay flexible and spontaneous. I like to adapt to the situation and the world rather then just stay rigid in each situation life bring my way. This is very important in leadership to adapt to new situations. You have to maintain a level of spontaneity to be an effective leader.
